Despite the groundbreaking success recorded so far in Nigeria’s music scene, an angry Igbo man has taken a tribalistic stance on the chain of successful artistes in the industry.
In a recent video obtained on social media, an angry Igbo man identified asDanielpointed out that Wizkid, Davido, Olamide, Tiwa Savage, Reminisce, Mayourkun, D’banj, Reekado Banks, 9ice and other artistes from the south-west region are enjoying a larger portion of the industry cake while only few Igbos are given the chance to blow & rule the industry.
According to him, the dominance of artistes with Yoruba ethnic background in the industry is quite worrisome adding that the artistes from the eastern part of the country are given unfair attention in the music industry.
