LaLiga giants, Real Madrid are ready to offer winger,
Gareth Bale to Premier League champion, Chelsea,
as part of exchange for star forward, Eden Hazard.
According to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Madrid
coach, Zinedine Zidane, who is ready to use Bale as
bait to land his top target, Hazard is a long-term
admirer of the Belgium International.
Bale, who has struggled for form and fitness in
recent months, has spent almost five years at the
Bernabeu,
Hazard, meanwhile has been in sensational form for
the Blues since recovering from an ankle injury last
season.
Speaking earlier this season, Premier League
legend, Steven Gerrard had suggested it was
inevitable that LaLiga’s elite would come calling.
“You need to have that confidence and that aura
about you,” Gerrard said.
“Chelsea star Eden Hazard is wanted by Real
Madrid.
“I think when he’s in that form he’s the best in the
Premier League for me.
“I think performances like that in this competition, if
you keep producing them on a regular basis, I mean
Frank (Lampard) won’t thank me for this or the
Chelsea fans, but the likes of your Real Madrids and
Barcelonas come knocking.
“Liverpool have got a similar problem with (Philippe)
Coutinho.
“It’s performances like that when the real big hitters
come,” he said.
